Week of 5 October 2026

New

Invite your teammates

Admins can now invite colleagues from Settings → Team. They get an email, sign in with that address, and land in your company.

Choose Member to let them run and review agents, or Admin to also manage settings, connections and the team.

Improved

Agents find your sheet's columns by name

When you set up an agent on your own spreadsheet, it reads your column headers and matches its fields to them, so your columns can be in any order.

The agent builder suggests which of your columns each field belongs to, and you confirm before anything is published.

Fixed

Fixes and improvements

Invitation emails now arrive, and accepting one takes you straight to your dashboard.

  • Invitation emails now arrive, and signing in from one lands you on your company's dashboard.
  • Switching an agent's tools on and off on its page is now instant. Every tool sits in its own group with a tick box, and tools that are off fold away behind "+N off" instead of a separate list.
  • When an agent works on its own and a step fails, the Operation Center now marks the run as failed and shows which step went wrong, instead of a green tick.
  • Connectors have the same name everywhere — on an agent's page, under Connectors and in team permissions (for example "Google Workspace").
  • If a scheduled agent can't start because its app was removed, the Operation Center now shows a "Run Refused" entry with what to fix, instead of the agent silently stopping.
  • Security improvements.

Week of 28 September 2026

Improved

The Map is easier to read

Processes now stack from top to bottom, the Map opens at a readable size, and you can zoom with your mouse wheel or by pinching your trackpad.

  • An app that several processes use appears in each of them, so no lines cross between processes.
  • Swipe with two fingers to move around.
Improved

The chat remembers how you left it

Open or closed, normal or wide, the Symbi chat stays the way you left it, on every device. Press ⌘J (Ctrl+J) to show or hide it, and a dot tells you when Symbi has replied while it was closed.

Improved

A quicker overview of your agents

Agents now shows a compact list grouped into active, paused and draft agents, with each agent's processes, this month's work and reviews waiting.

New

See how your agents work together on the Map

Agents → Map draws your agents, the apps they use and the work they hand to each other, grouped into the processes you define.

  • Lines show what starts each agent, what it reads and writes, and which agent it hands work to.
  • Group agents into processes. An agent can belong to more than one.
  • Click an agent, app or process to see its details.
  • Zoom with + / − and drag to move around.
  • Paused agents are hidden until you choose Show paused.
Improved

A clearer Connectors page

Settings → Connectors now shows what's connected, which agents use each app, and what you can add. A connection you started but didn't finish is no longer listed as connected.

  • Each connected app shows how many published agents use it.
  • An app's page lists the mailboxes, folders or channels your agents work with, and you can remove them one at a time.
  • If you leave a connection half-way, for example before picking a Gmail mailbox, you'll see Finish connecting with a button that takes you to the step that's left.
Improved

A Symbi chat that shows what it's doing

The chat now shows when it's working, says what went wrong if something fails, and links straight to the pages it mentions.

  • Working states: while Symbi thinks, you see it, and after a while you can stop the turn.
  • Clear errors: a dropped connection or timeout is shown, with a safe way to try again.
  • Links: when Symbi points you to a page such as Billing or Connectors, it's a link you can click.
  • Longer messages: the input field grows as you type.
New

Connect any MCP server

If a tool you use offers its own MCP server, your agents can now use its tools. No new integration needed.

An admin connects the server under Settings → Connectors with a token, OAuth or no login at all. Symbi lists the server's tools and suggests for each one whether it only reads or also changes something. You confirm, and the builder chat lets you give individual agents the tools they need.

Tools that change something go through review until you have confirmed them, and again if the vendor changes the tool.

New

Call any API, and start agents from any system

Agents can now call your own systems' REST APIs, and any system that can send a webhook can start an agent.

Describe the system in the builder chat, and it sets up a Custom API connection: which addresses the agent may call, and whether it only reads or also writes. The API key stays with Symbi and is never shown to the agent.

Each agent can also get its own secret webhook address, optionally with a signature check, so a booking system, ERP or form tool can hand it work directly.

New

WooCommerce: support agents can look up orders

Connect your WooCommerce store, and a customer support agent can check an order's status before it answers.

When a customer asks "where is my order?", the agent finds the order in your store and answers with the real status, instead of asking the customer to wait for a human.

Improved

Symbi tells you when a connection needs reconnecting

If a connected app stops delivering work to your agents, you now see it on every page, with a link to fix it.

Symbi also checks Gmail for new email every five minutes, so a message is delivered even if Gmail forgets to announce it.

Improved

The agent page starts with what the agent does

Each agent's page now opens with its job and whether it's working. The technical details have moved under Advanced.

"Cost Saved" is shown in your company's currency and explains how it is calculated, and the wording across the page is plainer.

Week of 21 September 2026

New

Agents read attachments: PDF, Word, Excel and images

Files attached to an email or a helpdesk ticket now reach the agent, which reads them as part of the job.

This works for Gmail, Zoho Desk and Freshdesk. When one agent hands work to another, the files go along too.

Improved

Schedules beyond once a day

Scheduled agents can now run hourly, every few hours or every few minutes, not just once a day.

Fixed

Email subjects arrive intact, and review cards show them

Subjects with æ, ø, å or dashes no longer arrive garbled, and a new email waiting for approval shows its subject and who it goes to.

If the recipient's address changes after you approved an email, Symbi stops instead of sending it to an address you never saw.

Fixed

Activity shows every run

The Activity tab in the Operation Center now lists runs the agent handled on its own, not only those that went through review.

Week of 14 September 2026

New

Add ready-made abilities from the chat

Ask the builder chat to give an agent a ready-made ability, such as following up unanswered emails, and the agent page shows what it can do.

Fixed

Helpdesk and email fixes

Photos a customer adds to a Freshdesk reply now reach the agent, and plain-text replies with links no longer arrive broken.

Freshdesk agents also always get the requester's email address.

New

Ask our team to build an agent for you

If an agent is more than the builder can set up, send the request to Symbi's team from the chat. We look at it and get back to you, and you can follow the status on Home.

New

Try an agent safely before it goes live

Run a draft agent on real emails or tickets. Nothing is sent or changed: you see what it would do, and can give feedback.

Each preview card shows the email or ticket the agent was answering, so you can judge the result in context.

Week of 7 September 2026

Fixed

The Operation Center shows exactly what happened

A reply waiting for approval is no longer shown as sent, and a reply the agent sent on its own shows the actual email.

Approved actions are listed once, a failed label is no longer shown as a failed email, and "Apply Label" offers your Gmail labels.

Week of 31 August 2026

Improved

Adjust an agent after it's live

Admins can edit an agent's instructions after publishing, and choose which knowledge bases each agent uses.

New

Everything about an agent on one page

Set up, publish, pause and run an agent from one page. The separate setup wizard is gone.

A short checklist shows what is left before the agent can go live, and Publish, Pause and Run now sit at the top of the page.

Week of 24 August 2026

Fixed

A failed send is shown as failed

If a reply fails to send, the Operation Center now says so, and replies on newly created Zoho Desk tickets go out.

Week of 17 August 2026

New

Agents work in Google Sheets

Agents can read and update rows in a Google Sheet, the same way they work with Excel, for example to track sales outreach.

New

Each agent's job, in one place

An agent's page now describes its job in plain words, and when you publish a change you see exactly what changes.

Week of 10 August 2026

Improved

Knowledge from documents and web pages

Add PDF, Word, Markdown or text files, or a web address, to a knowledge base, and your agents can search them.

FAQs that Symbi writes from your sources now appear as documents in the knowledge base.
